A: No. The CB‑42/CB‑43 feature a USB‑IF‑compliant E‑Marker smart identification chip that performs a two‑way handshake with the device before charging, automatically negotiating the appropriate voltage and current (e.g., 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 20V/5A). Even when connected to a device that only supports 18W fast charging, the cable intelligently steps down the output to ensure safe charging – there is no risk of “overcharging” or “burning” the device.

Q2: Why is the transfer rate 480Mbps rather than USB 3.0? Does it support video output (DP Alt Mode)?
A: This product is positioned as a high‑power charging cable. 480Mbps (USB 2.0) is the industry’s most stable and cost‑effective solution while ensuring high current (5A) throughput. It is sufficient for daily file transfers – documents, PDFs, high‑resolution photos, and MP3s. This model does not support video signal (DP Alt Mode) transmission. If you require simultaneous 4K video output and high‑power charging, we recommend our full‑featured cable series – we can provide samples upon request.

Q3: Is there a noticeable difference in charging speed between the 1M (CB‑42) and 2M (CB‑43) lengths?
A: Almost none. For the 2M version, we use a thicker, lower‑impedance copper core (upgraded AWG) to compensate for the increased length, ensuring voltage drop remains within industry standards even under full 240W load. In actual tests, charging a 16‑inch MacBook Pro with both lengths shows a full‑charge time difference of less than 2 minutes.

2. Procurement & Commercial

Q4: Is there an MOQ for the black/orange colours? Can I mix colours in one order?
A: Black and orange are our standard stock colours, so small mixed batches are welcome (e.g., a combination of colours as long as the total quantity meets the MOQ). For first‑time B2B partners, we offer sample purchase or small trial orders to help you test the market.

Q5: What is the lead time for bulk orders?

• Bulk orders (standard colours, no customisation): 7‑15 working days after deposit confirmation.

• Custom orders (colour change, logo, special packaging): add 3‑7 working days depending on process complexity – final lead time will be specified in the sales contract.

Q6: Can I get free samples for evaluation?
A: We fully understand the need for quality verification. Typically, samples are charged (including shipping), but this sample fee will be fully deducted from your first bulk order. 3. Customisation Services (OEM / ODM)

Q7: Can you print my brand logo on the aluminium shell or the cable body?
A: Yes. On the aluminium shell, we can use precision laser engraving for a permanent mark; on the braided jacket, we offer pad‑printing. Typical MOQs for logo customisation range from 3,000 pieces depending on the process, and we provide free first‑article samples for your approval.

Q8: Besides black and orange, can you customise other exclusive colours?
A: Absolutely. We can adjust the anodised colour of the aluminium shell and dye the braided jacket according to your PANTONE codes. Exclusive colour customisation may require a higher pigment MOQ and longer lead time – please enquire for specifics.

Q9: Can the packaging be fully designed according to my artwork?
A: Yes. Our standard packaging uses 350g single‑copper cardboard with UV, embossing, and a hook‑and‑loop fastener – already premium. If you require a completely new colour box or blister packaging, we have an established design and printing supply chain. Simply provide your source files (AI/CDR/PDF) and we will coordinate sampling and mass production.

4. Quality & After‑Sales Guarantee

Q10: What international certifications does the product have? Can you provide test reports?
A: Our CB series undergoes rigorous in‑house testing before shipment. We can provide CE, FCC, RoHS test reports upon request. In addition, we offer original test data for tensile strength, flex endurance (≥10,000 cycles), and insertion/extraction life (≥10,000 cycles) for your quality team’s review.

Q11: What is your after‑sales policy if quality issues arise after bulk purchase?
A: We offer a 12‑month warranty (excluding human‑induced damage or improper use). 

Q12: How should I troubleshoot if my end‑user reports slow charging?
A: In most cases, charging speed depends mainly on the charger (adapter) and the device’s own protocol negotiation. The CB series supports up to 240W and is fully backward‑compatible. If slow charging occurs, we recommend checking: 1) whether a PD‑compliant charger is being used; 2) whether the device’s battery is above 80% (entering trickle‑charge mode); 3) whether a non‑standard port is being used. We can always provide technical support documentation to assist your customer service team in addressing end‑user queries.
